CAMP GAN YELADIM
NEWSLETTER

Hi ya’ll!! This is the staff of Camp Gan Yeladim - a camp designed by kids, for kids, and for the mothers! We had an amazing time this past week…. Here are some of the activities we did:

Monday - The theme was Ahavos Yisroel! We started a scrapbook, baked cookies, made cheerio necklaces, and learned a lot about our theme.

Tuesday - That day, the theme was Moshiach! After learning about it, we made Moshiach crowns, read a book about Moshiach, and made welcome sign for Moshiach to come and end our golus.

Wednesday - Again, the theme was Moshiach. We learned more about it, and then we went to different mitzvah booths, where we all had a chance to do a different mitzvah.

Thursday - on Thursday, the theme was mivtzoim. We learned about it, put a few things in our scrapbook, designed Camp Gan Yeladim t-shirts, and then actually went on our first mivtzoim - we asked people in the shul if they were jewish. Finding they were, we gave candles to light on Friday night to Morah Aidy, and put on tiffilin with Rabbi Drizin!


Friday – We baked challah, made challah covers, and candles. We had a major fun Shabbos party, with Shabbos Imma’s and Abba’s! Full with the yummy cake and pretzels, we watched Doofus and Dora - two hilarious camp buddies who always make mistakes! Great job, Mushka and Mushka!
