wow what a week
for those of you who didnt get the newsletter
CAMP GAN YELADIM
NEWSLETTER
Hi ya’ll!! This is the staff of Camp Gan Yeladim - a camp designed by kids, for kids, and for the mothers! We had an amazing time this past week…. Here are some of the activities we did:
Monday - The theme was Ahavos Yisroel! We started a scrapbook, baked cookies, made cheerio necklaces, and learned a lot about our theme.
Tuesday - That day, the theme was Moshiach! After learning about it, we made Moshiach crowns, read a book about Moshiach, and made welcome sign for Moshiach to come and end our golus.
Wednesday - Again, the theme was Moshiach. We learned more about it, and then we went to different mitzvah booths, where we all had a chance to do a different mitzvah.
Thursday - on Thursday, the theme was mivtzoim. We learned about it, put a few things in our scrapbook, designed Camp Gan Yeladim t-shirts, and then actually went on our first mivtzoim - we asked people in the shul if they were jewish. Finding they were, we gave candles to light on Friday night to Morah Aidy, and put on tiffilin with Rabbi Drizin!
Friday – We baked challah, made challah covers, and candles. We had a major fun Shabbos party, with Shabbos Imma’s and Abba’s! Full with the yummy cake and pretzels, we watched Doofus and Dora - two hilarious camp buddies who always make mistakes! Great job, Mushka and Mushka!

MIVTZOIM DAY
| Wow! I can not beleive the week is almost over. Camp just flew by! We are having a smashing, booming time, here at CGY. Today was Mivtzoim Day, and the children learned all about it. We also learned that today was the 28th of Sivan. When the Rebbe and Rebbitzin came to America safely. We made T- shirts, we swam, played games, and ha dan awesome line up. We also watched some Malkali videos, it was a blast! Tomorrow will be hot lunch, so there is so need to bring a lunch, and also keep bringing in those Mitzvah notes. See ya'll tomorrow! today. WEDNESDAY
| Today, we had another day of moshiach fun, because there is so much to learn, we had a lot of fun. Today was also Hot lunch, thanks to Mrs. Goldschmidt who made meat and pasta, to which your kids enjoyed very much. Thank you also to Manya Dubrawsky - for making us all dessert, chocolate chip cookies. They were delicous. We had a Yetzer Hora hunt, you had to do a round of Mitzvos and not get caught by the yetzer hora. Luckily before it started to ploch, evryone had a chance of swimming, lets hope its all dry by tomorrow. Then we made crowns, and watched a skit performed by our pioneers, about the comingof moshiach. Chana Mushka Alevsky, a very loved counslour today went to California, and will be back next Friday IMH, She is actually arrivin gon her Bday. CMA you were awesome, we will miss you very much.
